Everyone is invited to the Fundraising for Freedom event Nov 23rd at CLA.  It's a night full of dancing, dessert and art, all with, the purpose of raising funds and awareness for International Justice Mission. Featuring live performances all night by the Creek Big Band, and a live painting by local artist Lori Morris.  So circle it on your calenders this season and bring the family (non alcoholic event) !

IJM partners with local authorities to rescue victims of slavery and violence (of all ages) in all countries, bring criminals to justice, rehabilitate survivors, and strengthen justice systems. Currently this year, their goal is to raise $60,000 in funds to carry out 7 rescue/rehabilitation missions in the Philippines alone, for children and women enslaved in cybersex trafficking (approx 9-10 individuals rescued with each mission).  CLA has now partnered with IJM in the fight against slavery.  You can hear their story on the night of the event and find out more info on their website ijm.ca

Tickets will be available $25/per person and can be purches at local churches, our CLA office, Enchanted toys & Games in Gibsons, & Strait Music in Sechelt.  Kids 13 & under are FREE
