The Watoto African Children's Choir returned to the Sunshine Coast this year to perform their "Oh What Love" concert! These kids are amongst the cutest kids on the planet!

The concert had originally been planned to be held outside at Winegard Park but due to the rainy forecast, was switched indoors to CLA. A Big THANK YOU to everyone who still came out for the performance and their patience with the quick switch.

Every time the kids perform, they positivily light up the place with their enthusiasm, vibrant colors, music, and beautiful smiles, making it an extraordinary experience!

Watoto Children’s Choirs have travelled the world since 1994, advocating for the 18 million African children currently orphaned by various regions. The choir children, who have all lost one or both parents, live in one of Watoto’s three villages, where they have access to education and healthcare. During their evening performance they share their stories, daily life at Watoto, and above all their faith in God despite everything!

"Through their unique personalities, the children now communicate and share the sense of belonging they found in God their father,” says James Skinner, creative director, Watoto Children’s Choir.  So many children have been able to pursue higher education and careers because of Watoto's organization.

The group is always warmly recieved on the Coast everytime they perform and this year was no exception as CLA was full! We are truly blessed and humbled by the Watoto children coming to share with us and perform! Thank you to the Watoto group and again thank you to everyone who came out to help serve, watch, and enjoy the event! Look forward to seeing their brand new tour in the new year!
